Post show blues? Yes / No?
Hello All. So I haven't quite made every month since my bold ambition in June, but it is 6 weeks. I'm happy with that - with a side...
Lynn Cordall
Lynn established her studio in 2020. After a long and fulfilling career in fashion buying and multi channel retail, she decided to follow her growing passion for gardens, design and plants, and retrained taking a post-graduate diploma in residential Landscape and Garden Architecture, graduating with a Distinction from the Oxford School of Garden Design.
Her earlier career experiences of running large teams and projects has enabled Lynn to bring a new professional approach to Garden Design, focusing on running a collaborative and client focused design studio.
Lynn won a Gold medal for her first show garden at Gardeners World live in August 2021. Designing and building her first RHS Show garden at Tatton in July 2022, Lynn not only won a Gold medal for her garden, but Best Garden for the whole show and Best constructed garden for the entire show. Lynn's Macmillan Legacy Shoe garden, partnering with Macmillan Cancer care, won a Silver medal in July 2023
Lynn is based in South Manchester, and works mainly in Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancs, Staffs and the Lake District
Lynn received a Gold Medal for her first show garden at Gardeners World Live in August 2021.
In July 2022, Lynn entered her first RHS show garden at RHS Tatton Park. The garden was in a new category, Greener Front Gardens, and was designed to show how our front garden spaces can be the many things we need them to be today - multi functional, contemporary, wildlife friendly, sustainable, relaxing and beautiful. The garden won Lynn 3 awards - her first RHS Gold medal, as well as the Best garden and Best Garden construction for the 2022 show.
In 2023, Lynn had the pleasure to create a show garden with Macmillan Cancer Support. The Silver medal winning garden will be recreated as the centre piece of a new public space in Knutsford in 2024
Gardens and Landscapes we believe should...
We conduct a detailed site survey and after collaborative discussions with you, draw up a design brief for your approval
The next step is to take the design brief and work up a detailed sketch plan design, bringing to life your dream space. This will be supported by CAD and hand rendered images so you can easily visualise your new garden and how it will add to your day to day life
Once approved, CAD drawings will be delivered coverings all aspects of the design and relevant construction details, including lighting and irrigation, ready for a landscaper to tender for construction
We will help you through the tender process with qualified, recommended Landscape contractors. We can also act for you as Project Administrator to ensure the project goes smoothly and leaves you free to get on with your life
A detailed planting plan is produced for client approval, before we source your plants from top quality UK nurseries and growers. We can also offer planting and maintenance schedules to ensure your space keeps looking its best
We can source and supply sculpture, furniture, planters etc... anything that provides that finishing touch to make your space perfect just for you
