Time to relax and enjoy

Its been a while. Why? Its been sunny and I have been busy. Lots of designing and work, but also hours of work on my own garden and as well as checking on the planning / growing for my Gardeners World Live show border for the August Bank holiday weekend. (More of that in another post - but for the 3m x3m space, even though one third is hard landscaping, I will need approximately 180 2 Litre plants... see, I have been really really busy).

So time to relax. How? The one thing we all have to remember about our gardens is to take the time sometimes to just sit, relax watch and appreciate what you have created - and watch who you share it with.

In this spell of amazing weather, we have got back into the habit of finishing work (on time) and spending a good 3 to 4 hours just sitting and pottering around the garden. Watering, reading, dead heading, listening to music, eating, chatting, just basically living outside. Its like a holiday every night. Mostly we are alone, sometimes friends join us. As I have said before, I do live a very rock and roll lifestyle these days. Try it. Feel the sun on your face, listen to the birds and insects and relax. You won't regret it.

Here is what is looking good in my garden at the moment (and who's enjoying it).
